Can You Keep a Bounce House for the Whole Weekend?

At Spring Forward Inflatables, a Friday delivery through Monday-morning pickup costs the same as a one-day rental when our routing allows it, so a $225 bounce house is $225 whether it's up for one afternoon or three days. The weekend rate applies to inflatables: bounce houses, combos, water slides, obstacle courses and inflatable games. Foam parties and the 25-foot rock wall are staffed, so they're priced by the hour and go home with the crew.

How the weekend rental works
Most of the industry prices a bounce house for four to eight hours and charges 20 to 50 percent more to keep it overnight or add a second day. We route differently. Our trucks run delivery loops on Friday and pickup loops on Monday, so a unit that goes out Friday and comes back Monday is the most efficient rental we do, and we pass that along as the one-day price. If your party is Saturday at 2, you'll usually have the bounce house from Friday afternoon until Monday morning.
The phrase "when routing allows" is honest, not a loophole. On the busiest weekends of the year, Labor Day and a handful of fall Saturdays, we sometimes have to deliver Saturday morning or pick up Sunday evening to serve everyone on the route. If that happens we tell you before delivery day, and it never changes your price.

Overnight: what to do with a bounce house at night
At bedtime, turn the blower off and let the unit deflate on its own; it takes a couple of minutes. Cover the blower with the bag or tarp we leave so dew doesn't get into the motor, and unplug it. Leave the stakes in and the unit where it is. In the morning, uncover the blower, plug it in, and it's back up in about a minute. Don't leave it inflated overnight: an inflated bounce house in a 2 a.m. thunderstorm is the one thing that can turn a fun weekend into a damaged unit, and wind damage from a blower left running is the renter's responsibility.
For water slides, drain the splash pool at night with the release valve and refill it in the morning. It saves water, keeps the unit cleaner and keeps mosquitoes out.
Weekend weather in South Georgia
Summer afternoons here bring pop-up storms. If lightning or high wind moves in, get the kids out, turn the blower off and wait it out; the unit is fine deflated in the rain. Once the storm passes and the vinyl dries, plug it back in. If the whole weekend is a washout, your $30 deposit moves to a new date; it never expires and it's never refunded as cash.

Here is how a typical Saturday-party weekend runs. Friday afternoon our truck arrives inside the window we texted you the day before, sets up the bounce house, stakes it, runs the cord and walks you through the safety rules; that takes 20 to 30 minutes. Friday evening the kids get a preview bounce, then you turn the blower off and cover it at bedtime. Saturday morning you plug it in and it's up in a minute, ready for the party and for the afternoon after. Saturday night, blower off again. Sunday it's the cousins' turn, or church friends after the service. Monday morning we come back, deflate, roll and load, and you never touched a stake. Three days of bouncing for the one-day price.
